"I went to the TEworks Conference
in Delaware; came with a lot but I left with a lot more. I learned that no matter where you come from or who you are you can
make history. Me being at the first annual empowerment conference made me realize I made history. History is an occurrence
of events that a witness can give an account that it really happened. Another thing I learned was to be a yes girl which stands
for Y-OUNG, E-DUCATED and S-ASSY and that's what every single woman or girl should be. Education is also a major key in life
if you ever want to get anywhere. I always have to have balance in what I am doing. When you don't manage your time you miss
opportunities, Also know that transformation is a process so do not rush anything. I learned that what you put into your life
is what you get out of it. How you present yourself decides what people think of you when they first meet you; it can determine
the job you get etc., first impressions will always count the most no matter what career you take in life. At the age of 10
is really when making good judgments comes in handy also how to make a conscious decision in what's right and wrong. Always
challenge yourself to do better never settle for okay or good enough. Strive for great because the stars aren't even the limit.
Right choices open doors and wrong choices close doors. This phrase practically speaks for itself make the right decision
life will be smooth. Make the wrong decision and life will go down worse then turbulence on an airplane. In all I loved the
conference and everything it stood for. I encourage any young lady to go it's worth giving up a Saturday. You may think nothing
of it at first, but will think highly of it when you leave. My closing message is to any girl no matter what size, age, shape
or height we are wonderful and have a purpose."
